New Quilt

I must say I am the Queen of quick quilts. I love the look of random quilts and find them the most fun to create. I love, using interesting fabrics.
This quilt is made using my usual formula of ten 1/2 metres fabrics. and starting with a fat 1/4 in the centre sew 9 1/2" strips around in a log cabin pattern.

Tomorrow I am off to the printers to pick up my latest run of this great Printblock print.
I have always loved this design and am unsure how old it is. It was among antique blocks that I purchased in Sydney quite a few years ago.
I was always sorry I didn't buy more.

Japanese Quilt at Housten Texas

Hi, I am finally back. Sorry life just goes too quickly. This is a gorgeous quilt I saw on my recent trip to Housten.
I had the loveliest time and I will try to put a few more images up of this fabulous quilt to inspire.
