Patchwork quilt one is my favourite - but I do love the cattie one and I love the first one - you know what I love them all. And I really love getting the Frankie mag and flicking through to see if there is a new one.
I am giving my opinion with lack of knowledge of Frankie Magazine (I don't think we get it here in the U.S.?) and I also have a graphic design background, so bear with me as I come at it with the point of what will get your ad noticed, but more so, your name remembered.
I like the first one because it jumps out at you, love the colors, BUT your logo gets lost which isn't a good thing if you want to get people to your shop. I like the 3rd one a lot, but again, the logo would just need to jump out a little more with bolder color, I like the whole set up, though. I do like the quilty one and I think it says who you are as a shop, but it feels a little stiff.
I hope you don't feel I am being too critical...I'm not good at fluffing, and I generally tell it like I see it.
side note: I do love the fact that you forgot to go to work the other day, and yes, your comment about not having babies in more mature life? Right on!
Thanks for all your comments everyone. Emma from Chibolt (my gorgeous daughter) has done these ads for me. I will pass on your advice Denise, I always think all comments good and bad are always helpful. Frankie is an indie magazine in Australia and is great.
Top two and the fourth one are my faves!
ReplyDeletethe first one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteFirst one for me too!!

ReplyDeleteI love them all, but I'll go with Sarah and say the Patchwork quilt one. I think that's SO Frankie. But I love them all. Super cool.

Now, that is a very hard choice!! If I had to choose it would perhaps be the red one, with the elephant, closely followed by all the rest : )
