I love seeing old with new and it is really nice to see more of it, yesterday Kate showed her gorgeous cushion project. Today Karen came in with her finished quilt top that she had done with old serviettes, appliqued onto on 1930's Yuwa fabric she bought the at Patchwork other day. Look's great!
I especially like that the embroidered edge was kept.
This is beautiful! I think I will have to come up and get some backing and do the same with the left over tablecloth.

Great idea, Karen used my suggestion to applique with invisible thread on the top (normal in the bobbin) and a blind hemming stitch on the machine, certainly makes it an easy project.
