Gees Bend Quilts

I have long been a fan of Gees Bend quilts. The colours that they have used together are usually unusual combos but work. This is one of my favourites that is on my pinterest quilt board and hope to make a version of it soon.

    This quilt has such simple beauty, it makes me wonder why I bother to worry over picking out fabrics & being so precise with measurements!
