Last night I had a bit of fun creating this great scarf.
I am in love with linen! It's made using a beautiful pure linen gauze with circles of Liberty fabric sewn on, then washed in hot water and put in the dryer to get that wrinkled look. Voila!
I have also been a fan of Japanese craft books for about four years. A lovely customer introduced them to me. I am excited that the publishers have started to translate some of them. This is one of my favourites. The photography and styling is inspirational. I have a few copies left I am taking to the Sydney Quilt Fair.

  1. So happy to see you've started a blog! I love the scarf you sell the linen at the shop? Does it come in other colours?

  2. Looking forward to seeing all the new quilting arrivals and other lovely things unveiled in this space.

    cheers, gracia

  3. Thanks for your comments. Yes the fabric is at the shop. I will get Marie to put it on the site when she is in next week.
Meanwhile I am trying to work out how to put my new photo's from the new camera on! Keep you posted.
