PATCHWORK ON CENTRAL PARK IS CHANGING

After 20 years in the Patchwork Business I am hanging up my needles and thread.   Sorry girls, but I have fallen out of love with Patchwork. It has been a decision that I have thought long and hard about and have finally come to the conclusion that I will no longer be continuing in the Patchwork industry after the end of this year.
It has been increasingly difficult for me to put in the amount of energy into Patchwork on Central Park that it deserves and needs.

Patchwork on Central Park will become Scarlet Jones Malvern  in 2013.

Come in early and get some awesome bargains at my SALE it starts on Monday  22nd October and goes until sold out.
30% OFF ALL PATCHWORK FABRICS if you buy 1 metre or more, if you finish the bolt we will take an extra 10% OFF! (under 1 m no discount) This include all the Anna Maria Horner Velveteens and flannels as well as Denyse Schmidt Flea Market Fancy cottons and voiles. Amy Butler etc. I will put some photos on the blog over the next few weeks and number them, so if you want to call and have fabric posted you can.
No Discount on Liberty, Linen, furnishing and Nani Iro

Our beautiful historic Burke Road shop will become the Malvern branch of Scarlet Jones, in the NEW YEAR
. This exciting new shop will be a different version of our hugely successful shop Scarlet Jones in Hawthorn, I will be KEEPING LIBERTY OF LONDON fabrics in the Malvern shop and extending the range.  We will have the full range online in the new year and offer FREE POSTAGE  in Aus (we will keep our PCP website the same for about 6 months until we change the name).
I will also be stocking beautiful French Linens, Japanese Nani Iro and other fabrics, including furnishing fabrics that I cannot resist, as well as trims.  I will also be sourcing divine fabrics on my regular trips overseas.
We will still offer our dressmaking service and bespoke soft furnishings and hope to offer the occasional class.

We have gorgeous linen clothing coming and a variety of covetable items that I have just sourced on my recent USA trip coming into the new store as well as individual vintage pieces . I am really excited about the new venture and I know it will evolve to become another much loved shopping destination for Melbourne, suited to everyone that wants something exclusive and individual for themselves and their homes.

Anyway enjoy the bargains while they last and use this opportunity to stockpile some absolutely gorgeous fabric at irresistible prices ALL PATCHWORK FABRIC MUST GO. COME EARLY TO GET THE BEST SELECTION
Hope to see many of you in the exciting new version of the shop next year.

  7. Ok, I was quite shocked and sad at first when I read somewhere that you were closing your shop, but after reading this post, I'm actually quite excited. Sounds like you'll be stocking more of what I'm now interested in more of too!
